reflections from a magical solo retreat in nature 

this fast paced world demands so much of us, we are constantly in a state of fight and flight, with noise coming at us 24/7. for those of us who are sensitive souls (and for all of us to be honest) this puts a lot of strain on our beings. we weren’t designed to be in a constant state of hyper-arousal all the time. and whilst i consider myself blessed to be able to take this time for myself, i’m super passionate that we need to build it into our every day. 

take time away from your phone, put it on dnd. walk in nature undistracted. take deep breaths before you eat your food (and eat undistracted). listen to your bodies cues and calls for rest. be outdoors as much as you can. 

this world has made everything so complicated. even wellness. but I believe that it really comes back to ‘returning to you’. cultivate quiet, peaceful moments in your day and your being will thank you no end. 

Know that you deserve to ‘return to you’
