Never Judge a Book

There are 5 years between these two clips. And in both look a seemingly confident girl. But what isn’t obvious in the clip from 2019 is that this girl was still ~

Battling an eating disorder

Chronic people pleaser who worried what everyone thought of her

Dealing with severe IBS but had no clue of how to actually deal with it

Had years of trauma and emotions lodged in her body

Skip forward to 2024 and it’s a very different story.

Confident in my own skin

Know my value and worth and how to communicate this

Nourish my body with food that supports it and food that I enjoy (without guilt)

IBS symptoms only rise on a rare occurrence and I treat them with compassion

Welcome my emotions with curiosity and love

Everyday committed to embodying my light

I feel unrecognisable from 5 years ago. And I credit the simple (but powerful) practises of mindfulness and movement for guiding me home to my light.

I’m currently developing a method ~ a simple 5 step practise that anyone can do to embody their own light. If this sounds like something you would love to try out then I’ll soon be launching a small group programme and I can’t wait to share more. Pop a 💛 in the comments below if this sounds like something you’d be interested in!

Always love,

Emily Rose
